Millenials are, in large part, driving the apartment market

The Puget Sound Business Journal recently had a great article on what seems to be the biggest macroeconomic driver behind the changing demographics of some very popular neighborhoods in Seattle, young people either being recruited to the city, or simply wanting to live here. They also have different wants and desires than their parents and grandparents–namely they like convenient amenities and aren’t interested in long commutes.
