Increased rents and scrambling residents

I’m sure many of you saw the Seattle Times article from Sunday noting how tight the rental market has gotten recently. The bottom line is that rents, particularly those in urban neighborhoods like Capitol Hill, QA, Fremont and Ballard have gone up markedly in the last twelve months. In some cases rents have gone up so much folks are now considering Bellevue and as the Times notes, having to deal with considerably longer commutes.
